The Winners of the My Travel Adventures Photo Contest

The votes are in and we have a winner in our first FacebAlyssia Berkowitz ook My Travel Adventures  Photo Contest. We invited our Facebook fans to submit their best vacation destination pictures and our judges have selected one grand prize winner and five runners up.

Our grand prize winner is Alyssia Berkowitz (right) of Los Gatos, California, for her submission,” Global Warming” (left),  a photo of her son Kenny taken at the top of the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau Alaska, showing the glacier melting round him. Allyssia (pictured) won a new iPad for her winning photo entry.

Jumping for Joy
Amanda Marcus submitted this photo was taken in Grand Lake, Colorado, on a white water rafting day. Jane says that Grand Lake is quite beautiful, and she shouldn’t have bent her knees when she jumped; she ended up with a bloody nose.
